[Sunami Toru Shoten's Pot Stand Is Back in Stock]

Sunami Toru Shoten, established in 1886, originally manufactured woven-rush mat in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, the birthplace of rush and flowered matting. The family business has been maintained by switching to the production of rush baskets, called "yamikago," which were used in the black market after the war.

The voluminous pot stand made entirely of rush, even the inner core, gives off an overwhelming sense of presence just by placing it. Because of its height of 105mm, the heat from the pot will not be transferred to the installation surface. Use it as a lifelong companion for a large earthenware pot.
