[Chikyu-no-Arukikata (Globe-Trotter Travel Guidebook)]

“Chikyu-no-Arukikata” is a guidebook that can be found in the travel section of any bookstore in Japan. Some of our staff members are such big fans of this guidebook that they carry it with them whenever they travel and read it carefully before and after their trips. In an age when information was not available on the Internet, this guidebook was one of the few that was useful, and it is still loved by Japanese travelers today.

The first English-language free e-book from the long-established “Chikyu-no-Arukikata” is “Tokyo 23 Wards,” a digest of 170 pages excerpted from the 480-page printed book, which is so comprehensive that you could enjoy sightseeing in Tokyo on its own. As is typical of Japanese guidebooks, it features many photos and detailed descriptions.
