[Magewappa Seiro, Shallow Bowl, and Steamer Cloth]

Kurikyu's Magewappa Seiro can be used for cooking with a Shallow Bowl from the Seiryugama. The combination of a seiro and a Shallow Bowl can be used for soup, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), pudding, etc. If you try it once, you may be able to expand the range of dishes using the seiro! So, I made “Steamed Vegetables Wrapped in Pork”, which is vegetables wrapped in pork.

Cut your favorite vegetables into bite-size pieces, wrap them in pork, and steam them for 10 minutes. Place vermicelli in the bottom of the Shallow Bowl and let it absorb the umami from the vegetables and pork. Ponzu sauce, Japanese dressing, or salted malted rice are also recommended as tare sauce.

When removing the Shallow Bowl from the seiro, it is a little difficult to put your fingers into the deep pot and lift it up by grabbing the edge of the hot Shallow Bowl. This is where Kiya's Steamer Cloth is in handy. After steaming, you can easily remove the shallow bowl by lifting the four corners of the Steamer Cloth. Please give it a try.
