[Matsuyama Tokojo's Atatame Pot and Yukihira Pot #5 Are Back in Stock]
Matsuyama Tokojo's popular products, Atatame Pot S, L and Yukihira Pot #5 are back in stock. These traditional earthenware pots are made of heat-resistant clay from Iga. Atatame Pot can be used to mash boiled potatoes or pumpkins into soup, or to make chai, hot milk, or hot wine. The Yukihira Pot #5 can be used conveniently all year round for stewing, cooking rice for two, porridge, and other dishes.
The photo shows "chia ye dan (Chinese tea eggs)," a staple in Taiwanese convenience stores, being made in the Atatame Pot L. Tea leaves and spices such as star anise and cinnamon are simmered together to make these eggs. The size of an Atatame Pot L is perfect for making 3-4 eggs in small quantities. After slowly soaking in the flavors, these delicious tea leaf cakes make a delicious lunch or dinner dish. Of course, it can also be made in Yukihira Pot #5, so please give it a try.
The Atatame Pot and Yukihira Pot #5 are available at the Imadegawa Showroom starting today, and at the showrooms that will be opening over the weekend. We look forward to seeing you there.
