Located a five-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Line in Kyoto, Salad Shop Sancho is a Western-style restaurant that was established in 1972.

The restaurant, marked by a cute red tent, is a renovated historical sake brewery that was built over 100 years ago. The bright orange lighting and the pop interior with red and green colors create a space that feels like a small European diner, while the high ceilings produce a calm retro atmosphere. The warm wooden tables, chairs, and stylish furnishings make this a popular restaurant visited by many young women customers as well.

One of the attractions of Sancho, which opened with the concept of using fresh vegetables and additive-free ingredients in its cuisine, is its extensive weekday lunch menu. Hot hamburgers, cream croquettes, mixed fries, and steaks are served with a wide variety of crispy salads with Sancho's original dressing on it.

The Omukoro Lunch, which includes an omelet with wakame seaweed and crab cream croquette with shrimp, and the Fried Lunch, which includes fried shrimp and chicken cutlet with shiso cheese, are highly recommended. On Saturdays and Sundays, the set menu offers specials such as the popular chicken and omelet combination as well as a lunch set with three different grills.

Why not relax in a spacious and stylish space, and enjoy the carefully prepared excellent food? Our Sanjo Showroom is a ten-minute walk from the restaurant, so please stop by and take a look at our traditional and beautiful products after lunch.
