My products arrived in perfect condition and, as usual, were packed beautifully with care. The box used to send my products is very strong and it protects the contents in an excellent manner. I always feel safe ordering from Shokunin because I know the packing of the products will be perfect. As for the products, they are what I expected. Well made and represent the quality I assume I will receive from Shokunin.
For the Chanto Container:
When I think about Shokunin, this is one of the products I always remember! It is one of my favorites. I bought one container several years ago and bought two more this month. In each case, the person I gave the containers to gasped with surprise and happiness at the sight of such a unique box! The container is a solid design blending fine Japanese wood craft with a modern flair in color and material of the sliding cover. It is a wonderful example of a fine eye that fused tradition with a contemporary sensibility to create a fun product. It is beautifully and meticulously made and the cover fits perfectly. I love the two views of the cover: the sliver of color from the front and the full color burst from the top. It makes the container that much more interesting and engages the user with two color experiences. One day, I look forward to buying a container for myself, but it will be hard to select just one because the wood work is immaculate and the choices are great. This container is iconic to me and keeps Shokunin in my mind because this is the Website where I first saw it. I love, love this box and Shokunin!!! Thank you for offering an exciting piece!!
For the Kiya Drop Lids:
The lids are made well and I am excited to use them for the first time in my cooking life. I have examined other lids (in stores) and these are far better quality with a smoother finishing of the wood. I bought two lids, the large and small. I think I may need to buy the medium size lid, too.
