Yesterday's dinner was only "lu rou fan" (minced pork rice) and turnip miso soup. The more I use Hakusan Porcelain's Hirachawan, the more I understand how wonderful they are. I feel that the larger surface area in contact with the air makes it easier to eat and even tastier, as it removes the rough heat from the rice. This is a rice bowl that you will want to serve especially when the rice is freshly cooked.

[Nagatanien's Miso Soup Pot has been added]

Miso Soup Pot that takes advantage of the characteristics of Iga's coarse clay, which is porous and has high heat storage properties, allows heat to penetrate the core of the ingredients with far-infrared radiation effects. Miso soup with many ingredients warms the body from the inside and is a strong ally in maintaining a well-balanced diet.

Miso soup is not the only thing that can be cooked in this pot. The thick, round earthenware pot stores heat well, and the residual heat after turning off slowly transfers heat to the ingredients, allowing the flavors to soak in and create a gentle taste.

In addition to stewing, it can also be used for baking, stir-frying, and roasting. Enjoy a rich dining experience with the Miso Soup Pot, which can be used in various ways.

[Wakamatsu Ebisudo]

Wakamatsu Ebisudo is a traditional bun shop. It has been operating in Goheita Shopping Street in Wakamatsu-ku, Kitakyushu City since 1949. After the store opens at 9:00 a.m., people shopping at the nearby market and those buying in bulk for souvenirs stop by one after another, and the store is sometimes sold out before noon.

The dough, carefully steamed every morning, is slightly sweet, fluffy, moist, and has a gentle, rustic flavor. Since the dough is made using traditional methods without preservatives, we recommend that you buy it as early in the day as possible.

The store's signature product is "Imo-Pan" (sweet potato bread), which is considered a Wakamatsu specialty. It is filled with sweet potatoes from Kyushu and is very popular among people of all ages. Also popular is a bun named "Yosaku," which is made with sweet potatoes topped with azuki bean paste and wrapped in a skin, in the style of "ikinari dango," a well-known bun in Kyushu.

It is a 10-minute walk from the showroom, and they are closed on "Sundays and national holidays" as well as "days when it rains in the morning." How about making it one of your stops while strolling around Wakamatsu? Quantities are limited, so please visit the store in the morning.
