[Tanmen with Lots of Vegetables]

Tanmen is a noodle dish mainly eaten in the Kanto area, made by stir-frying pork, bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, chives, and onions in a salty broth. It is also popular on the menus of Chinese food chains such as Hidakaya because it is an efficient way to consume several kinds of vegetables in one meal.

If you want to make it at home, add vegetables to the pork fried in lard, fry some more, add hot water and bring it to a boil, then add chicken stock, salt and pepper to taste. Put the boiled Chinese noodles into the pot of soup, and finally serve it in a warmed bowl and you are ready to eat.

For those who want to enjoy a large bowl of tanmen with lots of vegetables, we recommend Hakusan Porcelain's Noodle Bowl L Shallow. It is very easy and very tasty, so why not try making it at home?
