[Okubo House Mokkosha's Bread Plate]
A bread plate that prevents the bread from steaming in heat, which was developed in collaboration with the gourmet scholar, Mr. Kenichi Kaneko. As the plate was made by planing the wooden board towards the center, the bread wouldn’t touch the face of the plate but the points of the plate, creating a space for the steam to escape.
We have asked Okubo House Mokkosha to specially create the plates without any coating, so that the bread plates could absorb humidity more easily and would profoundly age in design.

Since it has more volume than it looks, with stable and handy shape, Owan 3.8 is recommended as your first lacquered bowl.

The lovely and smallish-looking Owan 3.8 is a standard product of Appi Urushi Studio, popular with women and children as it is easy to hold even for users with relatively small hands.
Since it has more volume than it looks, with stable and handy shape, Owan 3.8 is recommended as your first lacquered bowl. It is a vessel that anyone from adults to children can use.
Its shape is also the favorite of the representative of Appi Urushi Studio. Our staffs love it and use it habitually as well.
